the owners were incredibly kind and made us feel right at home. the rooms were spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities including air conditioning and a fridge. the highlight for me was the lovely terrace and garden, where I could relax under the shade of a 60-year-old walnut tree. the breakfast was delicious, with fresh omelettes, bread, and even some homegrown raspberries and redcurrants. it was a welcoming, comfortable, and clean place to stay, just a short drive from the highway.

The inn's location was ideal for exploring the surrounding area's attractions, such as Dürnstein Castle, Herzogenburg Monastery, and Lilienfeld Abbey. As a cycling enthusiast, I was thrilled to find out that there were plenty of cycling routes in and around Loosdorf. It was like having a playground for cyclists right at your doorstep.

Stayed here over Easter -21 and had a good time. the location was great, close to the highway and a short drive to the nearby city. the staff was friendly and spoke excellent English. the breakfast was a la carte and we were able to order it the night before, which was convenient.

But, gotta be honest, the beds were way too soft. Like, no support at all for people with back problems.
